Jan 16th, 2022: Being Grounded
More than ever before, we need to know what it means to be grounded in the promise that God has for the world. When we ignore His voice, some others will try to distract us. The world is a noisy place. Everyone seems to scream for attention. Being grounded is more challenging than we think. What does it mean to be grounded?
Open our eyes and see what God is doing. God is ever-present even though we ignore Him. We need to reclaim our dependence on Him so we might understand what it means to receive His blessings. We have been damaged by the spiritual poverty of those who lead us. They have taken our nations to the point of being bankrupt spiritually. They prefer to hear their own voices as they advocate lies. God opens our eyes to see the truth.
Be courageous as we choose to go about God's business in this world. The ownership of the world does not belong to any political power or leaning specifically. People in some parts of the world will go to prison if they say their governments have lied to them. In Canada and US, we might just be sanctioned by Facebook or Twitter if we call out lies from the authorities. We have to be courageous because freedom is a myth. We will see the total collapse of social media one day.
Believe that we are not alone in this battle against the principalities of this world. We will suffer, but we will not lose our integrity. We might face the condemnation of this world, but not the eternal damnation. We have the freedom to walk away from the prevailing darkness of this world. We do not have to remain in slavery to ungodliness and untruth.
2 Timothy 1: 7
“Be strong and courageous, do not be afraid or tremble at them, for the LORD your God is the one who goes with you. He will not fail you or forsake you.”
1 John 4: 4
"For God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind."
