Jan 30th, 2022: It is time

Here is the link you might need to read to have a better understanding of the men and women who decide to go to Ottawa with various truck convoys from different parts of Canada this weekend.

I am sick and tired of the language of some news outlets who describe these folks as extremists. These are folks who are the backbone of our nation's economy. They are hard workers who happen to have their own convictions and reaction to what has been going on in this country. It is naive and a mistake to look at it as an anti-vaccination grievance only.

It is about regular people are getting tired of a minority government behaving like a dictatorship regime by taking advantage of the pandemic. People want to have open conversations about the issues that Canada has to encounter. They don't want to be afraid of the PM using hateful language whenever they don't see eye to eye with him. It is his mistake by mentioning them as some irrelevant minority. That can only create more anger. Has he forgotten that he got less than 33% of the popular votes in the last election? He got elected because of a faulty and unfair electoral process. He also promised to reform it. That didn't not happen.

I hope and pray that we will be able to expose lies, and the truth will prevail so that we can be truly free. Using the talk about the potential violence to dismiss how people think, feel, and desire to express themselves is pure propaganda. If the PM has any courage and integrity, he should meet these folks. His use of the excuse of being exposed to COVID 19 and having to be quarantined is the laughable response. According to Health Canada, we don't have to be isolated if we don't have any symptoms and test negative.

The PM has been talking about believing in science. I hope that the PM will also take notes from history about tyrants. Most tyrants likely don't end up well. He needs to be courageous and engage in conversations with those who disagree with him. Together we can begin to bring about the needed healing of this nation.

Daniel 10: 19

“And he said, ‘O man greatly loved, fear not, peace be with you; be strong and of good courage.’ And as he spoke to me, I was strengthened and said, ‘Let my lord speak, for you have strengthened me.’”

Psalm 27: 14

“Wait for the Lord; be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the Lord!”
