March 10th, 2022: Fear Not
"Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." - Isaiah 41:10
It is a test of faith to live out the truth of this verse.
Our heart is dismay because of the unspeakable suffering.
Why should one start a war because of one's ambitious illusion?
We want to scream at those who are distructive in their power seeking.
We ask God for strength because we are increasingly weary.
We are tired of words that are meaningless.
People say one thing and then go out and do the exact opposite.
We long for God's intervention in our distress.
A leader says he wages war to set some people free.
They are free already, you are a crazy freak.
He has no fear for the absence of righteousness in his action.
Even his own people tell him just to take a break.
God will uphold us with His mighty power.
We continue to seek His presence in the midst of war.
We won't give up in the face of evil.
This specific tyrant will be remembered as a devil's whore.
