March 9th, 2022: How to Praise God?
"Lord, You are my God; I will exalt You and praise Your name, for in perfect faithfulness You have done wonderful things, things planned long ago" - Isaiah 25:1
You are my God! What does that mean?
For all of that I am, I will be about your plan, not mine.
For all of that I have in this world, nothing truly eternal.
I entered the world according to your design.
I praise your name not only in time of need.
It is not just a name; it is also your power.
I praise you because of your lasting presence.
Why should I worry when you care for birds in the air and wildflowers?
I give thanks for your faithfulness.
With that, you have lavished me with your everlasting love.
You walk and talk with me every day of life.
I continue to seek your face in the lives of those unloved.
I don't assume that I know your entire plan.
Help me, my Lord, to be obedient to what I know.
I continue to pray for your revelation of what I don't know.
What happens in my life today would reconcile with your plan long ago.
